The British-Yemeni Society invites you to a talk by Rev'd Peter Crooks MBE entitled "A Work of Faith and a Labour of Love". The event will take place on Friday 26 February 2016 at 6 pm at St Matthew's Conference Centre (20 Great Peter Street, Westminster SW1P 2BU).

The speaker has served as the Chaplain of Christ Church in Aden and director of the Ras Morbat Eye Clinic for more than six years between 2004-2008 and 2011-2013.  

Peter will speak on the Christian presence in Aden past and present with a special report on the work of the Ras Morbat Eye Clinic, whose work the British-Yemeni Society has supported numerous times in the past. He is also the author of "Yemen, Heartbreak and Hope" (2013). The book, while largely told against the backdrop of Aden, includes chapters on Israel/Palestine and Iran, where he and his wife, Nancy, have also lived and worked.

Drinks will be served from 5.30pm, members £5, non-members £10.
